Whether you are looking for a long term relationship or something from the red light district you’ll find that they are different.

Thai girls basically want to find someone to love and that will love them back the same. Most don’t like guys that party are do drugs. They want someone that will treat them nicely and be respectful. In return, you won’t get materialistic girls or ones that are full of drama. Thai girls know how to treat a man and I have many friends that will atest to this fact.

Having been living in Thailand for a few years, I’ve grown to know more about Thai girls and what to expect from them and how to tell a real Thai girl from a working Thai girl. For those of you that don’t know what a working Thai girl is, then let me explain. A working Thai girl is a Thai bar girl, a escort. Basically a prostitute. I won’t talk down about them because they have to earn money for themselves and their family. Considering Thailand is not a wealthy country and all.

Sure I’ve dated Thai girls and they can’t be compared to Western girls from say America or from UK. I’ve found that real Thai girls are not materialistic like their Western counterparts. Now I don’t want to start getting hate mail from any of you Western girls. The truth is that you just can’t compare the two. Not going to happen. Thai girls know how to treat their men. I mean the real Thai girls. Of course we know that the Thai bar girls know how to treat their men, they get paid to! LOL.

Real Thai girls are sweet. I have tons of Thai girl friends and they all want the same thing. They want to have a special man in their lives that’s not a butterfly, drug addict or a liar. They don’t really care about money. They just want to be happy and be happy with a nice farang is even better. A farang is a foreigner. I have many friends that are married to Thai girls and they are extremely happy.

Dating Thai girls is pretty simple. They don’t ask for much and if you treat them with respect, you will get the world back 10 fold. It’s just my observation…

Now this is funny. Lately, when I talk to my friends and family back home about going to get a massage, they always laugh at me. The mere word “Massage” conjures up behind the back giggles and raised eyebrows but seriously people. Have you ever had a really “Good” Thai massage? You can’t travel Thailand without one!

If you travel down Sukhumvit road going towards the river you can turn left (Sai) on Soi 19. This is where Robinsons is on the left. Travel about 65 yards and you’ll come across the best foot massage in town. The name alone will draw your attention. It’s on the right side of the street directly across from Robinsons side entrance.

There are usually some pretty Thai girls sitting outside yelling at the farangs “You want massage?”. So, it’s hard NOT to notice it. The first thought that comes to peoples minds is that it’s more of an adult establishment but it’s quite the opposite. It’s a really nice foot massage parlor. Now, can you get the other? I don’t know. I’ve never been there at night and not one of the Thai girls even asked me about anything other than a Thai massage.

Now this is a great massage. Not only do they give your feet the kung fu works but they massage your back and your neck and your head and your hands all at the same time. It’s a freaking smorgusborg of reliefs for your body. I prefer these to the lay down massages because I will fall asleep during a regular Thai massage. Literally, I will fall asleep snoring and all.

There is also a nice foot massage place in Patong beach, Phuket. Not sure what the name of it is but it’s on the strip right next to the Beach Resortel on the water. You see the Thai girls all with Yellow T-shirts on. Big windows and lots of chairs. Good foot massage.

Anyway, you can’t be in Thailand unless you get a real Thai massage. Not one like some of you may be laughing about now but a real one.

Do you know what is crazy? Muay Thai is crazy. But what’s even crazier is watching Thai girls do it. I got the chance to see my first female Muay Thai in Patpong a while back and let me tell you. It was crazy. I have never seen two girls go at it so hard in my whole life. It was truly an amazing thing. If you take a look at the photo, you will see the power of the sport in her eyes. She’s like a cage fighter!

The match lasted 4 rounds and this girl won the match. I have to say that I’ve been to many Muay Thai matches with men before but this one was one of the strangest things I’ve seen. The intense fighting that these girls did was outrageous. I can only compare it to a Mike Tyson fight back in the states.

After this Thai girl won the Muay Thai match, she walked around the place soliciting tips. I was all to eager to give her a 500 baht note for a job well done.

You can find Thai girls fighting Muay Thai all over Thailand. I haven’t heard a lot of advertising for it so you might have to check around. I do believe they still do it somewhere in Patpong. Yes, Patpong!

I wanted to talk for a minute about the ongoing issue of Thai dating sites and the fraud that comes with them. Some of you have emailed me about being scammed on some Thai dating sites and I wanted to give you all a bit of information on how they work and how to not be scammed.

There are some scrupulas Thai dating sites out there that love to do bait and switch tactics in order to get the men to pay. I have listed a few of those sites on the MatchMaker section of this website. I have also listed some reputable sites as well.

What these sites do is create fake profiles of Thai girls and then they will email the men on the site and since the men have to pay to respond or email the girls, there is your scam. Most of the complaints were hear are that Thai girls email the guys, then they guys pay and then the Thai girls never respond. This is clearly a scam and it’s been going on for quite a while.

You have to watch out for these sites. Sites like SiamHoney who hide their domain name contact information so that people can’t track them down. They do this for a reason. SweetSingles used to sell email addresses that were mostly fake. They have since switched to a monthly membership and some members have informed us of the fake profiles of Thai girls contacting them.

Ever since I can remember, there has always been one really good Thai dating site and that is ThaiLoveLinks. They have been around since niche market dating started and have a huge reputable database of real Thai girls and I have never heard a complaint about them.

You also have to watch out for scammers in these Thai dating sites. Scammers pretending to be a poor Thai farm girl and requesting money to be sent via Western Union. Under NO circumstance should you give money to anyone you meet on the Internet.

I hope that this sheds some light on the goings on of some Thai dating sites. I’m sure that there are more scamming Thai dating sites out there and if you run across one, please let me know. I will add their site to the growing list.

Today I read an article on the Bangkok Post about a couple Thai dating firms in Khon Kean that have been defrauding some of the Thai girls there in the region to the sum of 5000 Baht per Thai girl plus some other fees.

It’s kind of sad to see that the poor Thai girls there have to actually pay to try to find a farang man to marry. It’s really sad because there are tons of free Thai dating sites out there that allow Thai girls to email men for free. Why are these Thai girls paying this fee? It’s a bit stupid if you ask me.

This story wouldn’t have been done if it were not for the Thai girls that exposted. The Thai police knew about these firms doing this type of scam on the Thai girls but the Thai girls were previously too embarrassed to go to the police but now they seem to be telling their stories. I think it’s wrong to take advantage of anyone much less a poor Thai girl.

Thai brides are a big business in Thailand and it would seem that there are some very scrupulous business owners out there. There are also some not so trusting International sites out there too. Soon I’ll be writing a blog about some of the scammer Thai dating sites out there. Believe me, there are a few of them. I know, I’ve used them before only to be scammed.

Meeting Thai Girls at the Loy Krathong festival has got to be one of the best ways of meeting beautiful Thai girls that are out and about. A lot of my Thai and Farang friends go to this festival just to meet Thai girls. I wasn’t very shocked when I heard them tell me some of the stories/encounters they had with Thai girls down there. In fact, every year that I’ve been to this festival, I’ve always had tons of Thai girls checking me out. I’m not talking bar girls either. For a lot of people, the Loy Krathong festival time is about letting go of anger and making a new start and having compassion in their hearts. The releasing of the little banana leaf and candle floats down the river seems a bit more about the fun than the actual ceremonious part of it. Well at least it seemed like that to me. Every single Thai girl that I met all were looking for someone to spend that celebration with. I know a lot of them went home empty handed but what can you do…
