I have a friend named Dave and he is married to a Thai girl and they have 2 beautiful children together. They have been married for 6 years now and it truly is a match made in heaven. I have had several opportunities to hang out with them and the same thing happens over and over. Dave treats her nicely and she rewards him by being one of the best Thai girls out there. Ning is a very nice lady anyway and seeing the two of them together is like watching a romantic comedy movie. Minus the whole Ben Stiller – Jennifer Aniston part. Trust me, they are funny and the kids are just adorable.

There are many things that make cute Thai girls the way they are. Whether it’s the way they treat them in public or private, it’s all the same. It’s true love and as long as there is a fire then I suppose it will never die out. Thai girls have been this way for years. If you’ve ever been to Thailand then you know what I mean. I’m not talking about the old dude with the young Thai girl, that is just a holiday romance (Working Girl). I’m talking about a Thai girl and a farang about the same age walking and holding hands together. You can always tell a vacationer and a local farang apart. It’s in the clothes they wear. If you see a surfer looking dude in shorts and a tank-top with a Thai girl in a miniskirt then trust me, he paid for that. But if you see a  Thai girl and a farang wearing what appears to be work clothes then there you can spot the difference.

Today’s Thai girls are the same as their past counter parts in that they are all looking for the same thing. They want to have someone to love and someone to take care of and someone to keep them warm at night in bed. Isn’t that the same for all girls world wide? Uhhh, NO! Most American girls I know have the Tramp Stamp and are only looking for money. Now don’t get me wrong, Thai girls are looking for money too but the majority are not. As a whole, Thai girls want someone to love and will pretty much select the first farang that comes along. This can be disastrous for them since a lot of farang men are looking for short time Thai girls. Whether it be a bar girl or a normal girl. Doesn’t bode well  for the rest of us farangs that don’t seek bar girls for relationships. Trust me, that is a whole different topic.

Having been in Thailand for so many years I’ve come to understand today’s Thai girls. I know a bit more about them due to the fact that my father was stationed here during the Vietnam War. I have queried his mind about this and he has told me that there is nothing really different from the Thai girls of the 60’s and 70’s other than you have a lot more Thai girls working in Bangkok than you have out in the farm areas. Most of the Thai girls know they can make more money by working in the big city. One thing that sticks out in his mind is the fact that Thai girls still love to take care of their man.

Yes, it’s true that Thailand has the most beautiful women in all of Asia. Don’t get me wrong, Asia has lots of beautiful women. Girls from Japan are very beautiful as well but nothing beats the beauty of a Thai girl.

Thai girls are a bit different than their American and European counterparts. Thai girls know how to take care of their families. Now, I don’t want to slam Russian girls but seriously, when is the last time you saw a Thai girl passed out from drinking too much vodka? HA! But seriously, have you? I haven’t. There is something about how a Thai girl is raised. Even from the poorest farm areas. It’s a Thai custom I suppose. They are family oriented and so they know how to make their husbands happy. I’m not saying they are submissive because they are not. Don’t ever make a Thai girl angry and don’t ever make her save face. Two worst things you can do!

Thai girls love to pamper and they love to take care of their men and trust me, they know how to cook. That is the best part. If you treat a Thai girl with respect and love then you have it coming back to you 100 times over. It’s just how they are.

The biggest thing about Thai girls is that they are not shallow. They love from the inside. They don’t care what a man really looks like. If they are treated nicely and are loved then that is what they give back. That should be the same all over the world but it’s not. There are a lot of gold diggers out there and I suppose if you come from nothing like a lot of Thai girls then you know what it’s like to not have anything so having something is not a big deal. Well, at least that is what I think…

Thai girls are beautiful and they know it. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to date a Thai girl then you know what I mean. These girls love to have a good time and they especially love foreign men. Why do you think guys love to go to Thailand? It’s for the beautiful Thai girls.

What makes Thai girls so different from their American or Western female counterparts? There are several reasons. Thai girls don’t look at a man for his beauty. They look at a man for who he is on the inside. These Thai ladies love to cook and take care of a man. I do believe it’s in their genes. They just love to take care of their men and I find nothing wrong with that. They aren’t all materialistic and if you keep them happy then they are fine. Don’t ever cheat on one and don’t ever force her to save face. That is a big mistake.

Whether you are waiting for a traffic light, visa stamp at immigration or waiting in line for the BTS, a little patience might just make your day a little easier to deal with. The first thing you have to understand is that Thais are not in a hurry to do anything except take your money. Now, I say that with a bit of a reservation. Don’t get me wrong, I love Thai people but I think everyone likes to get paid.

Thais are really not motivated by anything. They are not in a hurry to do anything. Why should they? They have a great life. One of the best tourist destinations in the world. They know this and they totally take advantage of it. I’ve heard people say that Thais only smile when you have money to spend. I don’t think that’s true. Granted everywhere you go in Thailand you have to spend money. So, there might be an argument there.

Thailand is notorious for heavy traffic, long traffic lights and long lines at the BTS. Everywhere you look there is a line for stuff. One thing you might not have to wait for is a beautiful Thai girl. Those seem to be in large supply!

So, if you are going to Thailand, be prepared to wait a little bit. Be patient and relax and you’re Thai vacation will go just fine. Enjoy! Chok Dee Mak Mak!

Thai girls are no different. As you can see in the picture, they take advantage of the holiday to earn a few bucks too. Nothing wrong with that you know. Well, not to me anyway. Thai girls do what they can to earn money. Besides, how would they be able to go shopping without all our farang money!
